Community

Honesty

We admitted we only have control over our own actions, reactions, and attitudes.

Hope

We believe that a Power greater than ourselves will provide good, orderly direction for us and our members.

Action + Acceptance = Faith

We are responsible for taking the best action for our members. We accept the results, whatever they may be.

Courage

We move forward in the face of fear. We let go of resentment. We forgive others.

Integrity

We say what we mean and mean what we say. We do what we say we are going to do.

Willingness

We go to any length to improve ourselves and the lives of our members.

Humility

We are all equal, even though we are different. Nobody is better than anyone else, inside or outside our community.

Responsibility

We own the consequences of our actions, reactions, and attitudes.

Justice

We make amends with people we have inadvertently harmed.

Self-Discipline

We take care of ourselves and help our members learn to do the same. Every day, we commit to improving ourselves, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Spirituality

We seek good orderly direction from a Power greater than ourselves.

Service

We freely give of our care, wisdom, and time for the benefit of our members and others. We believe service is the essence of spirituality. We use the practice of spirituality as a selfless, other-centered action in everything we do.

The Sana Lake Philosophy

We want the best outcomes for our members and that is Recovery for Life. Meeting their needs is first in everything we do.

We care for our members in a nurturing manner. We support, guide, lead, and care for them without enabling.

family therapy

Treating substance use and concurrent mental health disorders is complex. Each individual presents a unique combination of mental health challenges, substance use patterns, and receptiveness for help. Therefore, we personalize our treatment and recovery plans to the needs of the individual.

To achieve the best outcomes, we use a broad range of available and effective evidence-based psychotherapeutic, pharmacological, naturopathic, and adjunctive approaches across the entire spectrum of the continuum of care. We know that personalized treatment is the most effective way to meet each member where they are at.

We believe it is important for the family and other loved ones to engage in their own treatment and recovery plan for the best possible outcomes for the member and their loved ones.

We treat our staff and members with respect and honor their contributions. We invest in the continuing growth, development, and nurturing of our staff. We require staff to exemplify our Purpose, Principles, and Philosophies inside and outside our community.

We believe in doing well by doing good. Our stakeholders deserve an adequate return on capital so that we will reinvest capital in helping more people recover.
